Dr. Majher is a native of Arkansas City, Kansas. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wichita State University. While attending WSU, Dr. Majher was an active member of the golf team. Dr. Majher earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree in May 2001 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During his optometric education he received several clinical skill awards and graduated with honors, Suma Cum Laude. In 2012, he received his board certification as Diplomate, American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Majher joined Shea Vision Associates in July 2001, but his relationship with the practice goes back to 1995 when he worked as an optometric assistant while attending WSU. Dr. Majher practices all aspects of optometry and has a special interest in ocular disease, including glaucoma and macular degeneration. Optometry is a unique blend of art and science and Dr. Majher enjoys using the latest technology available to improve the vision and lives of his patients. Dr. Majher serves on the board of directors for the Kansas Optometric Association and served as the Wichita Optometric Society Zone President.
In his free time, Dr. Majher enjoys playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family. Dr. Majher is also active in his local church and the Lions Club.
